+The aim of **Norsk Urskog** is to promote the lesser known bands in the Norwegian metal scene. We wish to privide a venue where these bands can get to expose themselves to an international audience as well as a business no less international. We do this by dirstributing a CD sampler among the audience and business people at the Inferno Metal Festival held in Oslo in the easter of every year. We include the CD sampler with every ``goodiebag'' that the Inferno Festival hands out both to itæs audience, bands, promoters and businesses.

+**Norsk Urskog** is completely independent and base it's operation on the bands splitting the cost for printing the CD among themselves. In addition we depend on gifts and sponsorships to cover administrative costs and royalties. The Inferno Metal Festival supports the project, but we are otherwise independent.
