+The aim of **Norsk Urskog** is to promote the lesser known bands in the Norwegian metal scene. We wish to privide a venue where these bands can get to expose themselves to an international audience as well as a business no less international. We do this by dirstributing a CD sampler among the audience and business people at the Inferno Metal Festival held in Oslo in the easter of every year. We include the CD sampler with every ``goodiebag'' that the Inferno Festival hands out both to itæs audience, bands, promoters and businesses.

+Målet med **Norsk Urskog** er å sette fokus på de mindre kjente banda i det norske metallmiljøet. Vi ønsker å gi disse en kanal for å kunne vise seg frem for et internasjonalt metallpublikum såvel som en like internasjonal metallbransje. Dette gjør vi ved å produsere en samle-cd som distribueres på Infernofestivalen i Oslo. Både bransjefolk og publikum mottar CDen, som legges ved i samtlige av Infernofestivalens ``goodiebags.''

+**Infernofestivalen** samler det som er av bransjefolk for metall og tyngre musikk til festival og konferanse i påsken hvert år. I tillegg er jevnt over rundt en tredjedel av publikum på festivalen fra utenfor Norge.

+**Norsk Urskog** er helt uavhengig, og baserer seg på at banda som er med på hver utgivelse er med å spleiser på kostnaden ved å trykke den. I tillegg er vi avhengig av gaver eller sponsormidler for å dekke de resterende utgiftene, som NCB-vederlag, portokostnader etc. Prosjektet støttes av Infernofestivalen, men har frie tøyler og opererer helt uavhengig av den.
