* Added :use_two_digit_numbers option [Lennart Fridén & Kim Persson]Lennart Fridén2011-12-111-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | Added use_two_digit_numbers select_tag option for displaying months and days with leading zeros without affecting the values (useful for e.g. ISO-style dates, 2011-08-01). Signed-off-by: José Valim <jose.valim@gmail.com> Conflicts: actionpack/CHANGELOG.md
* Add button_tag support to ActionView::Helpers::FormBuilder.Will Farrington2011-12-111-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | This support is near-identical to the existing submit_tag support. Example: <%= form_for @post do |f| %> <%= f.button %> <% end %>

* Allow layout fallback when using `layout` methodPrem Sichanugrist2011-12-061-0/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | Rails will now use your default layout (such as "layouts/application") when you specify a layout with `:only` and `:except` condition, and those conditions fail. For example, consider this snippet: class CarsController layout 'single_car', :only => :show end Rails will use 'layouts/single_car' when a request comes in `:show` action, and use 'layouts/application' (or 'layouts/cars', if exists) when a request comes in for any other actions.

* Implement a workaround for a bug in ruby-1.9.3p0.Jon Leighton2011-11-061-0/+13
| | | | | | | | | | | | The bug is that an error would be raised while attempting to convert a template from one encoding to another. Please see http://redmine.ruby-lang.org/issues/5564 for more details. The workaround is to load all conversions into memory ahead of time, and will only happen if the ruby version is *exactly* 1.9.3p0. The hope is obviously that the underlying problem will be resolved in the next patchlevel release of 1.9.3.
* Convert CHANGELOGs to Markdown format.Jon Leighton2011-11-041-0/+5663
Reasons: * Markdown reads well as plain text, but can also be formatted. * It will make it easier for people to read on the web as Github formats the Markdown nicely. * It will encourage a level of consistency when people are writing CHANGELOG entries. The script used to perform the conversion is at https://gist.github.com/1339263
