+If you already know somebody's 'webbie' you can connect with them directly. A webbie looks just like an email address but refers to somebody in the open social web. In order to connect they must be using a compatible network protocol. By default, this software supports the 'zot' protocol, however additional protocols may be provided through plugins/addons.
